Did you know that a good detective can go into a room and know what people did in it hours
before?

One of the skills of a good detective is noticing details that most of us overlook. Objects in the room give clues as to what
people did in there. Do you think you have what it takes to uncover the events that occurred in your house hours before, just
by evaluating the clues?
Keep in mind that this excercise will only work before the house has been cleaned and things put away. You will
need a small notebook to write down clues. Go through each room in the house and try to figure out who was previously in it
and what they did. For example: You go into the dining room and 2 chairs are not pushed in. You look carefully at the table
and notice a small piece of crunchy wheat looking crumb. The carpet under the table has some dried mud on it. After
evaluating these clues, this is a conclusion that you may come up with. The chairs are the ones that your 2 brothers usually sit
in. The crunchy looking wheat looks like cereal your mom has in the pantry. You take out a piece of cereal and discover it is
the same as in the pantry. The only one in the family that usually has mud on his shoes is your older brother who is most often
with your other brother. It must have been them eating their cereal for breakfast.. Voila, you have made a discovery about
who was in the room, and what they did, just from evaluating the clues!
